Facts and practical information
The Schweppenburg Mill, also called the Mosenmühle after its owner, is one of the very few still regularly operated water mills in Germany. It is driven by the Brohlbach and is located below the Schweppenburg, with which it was already mentioned in 1377, just before the mouth into the Rhine in the district of Niederlützingen of the municipality of Brohl-Lützing in the district of Ahrweiler. The mill is listed as a historical monument.
