The Düsseldorf Memorial for the Victims of National Socialist Tyranny is a cultural institute of the state capital Düsseldorf. It is a museum, research center and archive. The house was opened in 1987 and has since been dedicated to the memory of the Düsseldorf victims and persecutees of the Nazi regime. It is located in the western part of the historic town house in the old town and since a thorough renovation and its reopening in May 2015, it has displayed the permanent exhibition "Düsseldorf Children and Young People under National Socialism."
