The Stadterhebungsmonument is a monument commemorating the granting of city rights to Düsseldorf. It is located on Joseph-Wimmer-Gasse corner Müller-Schlösser-Gasse in the old town. The sculpture was made by Bert Gerresheim. It was erected in 1988 on the occasion of the 700th anniversary. The motifs include the Battle of Worringen, the sealing of the town's charter of elevation, and the elevation of the parish church dedicated to St. Lambertus to a canonry.
