Schlüchtern Abbey is a former Benedictine abbey in Schlüchtern in the upper Kinzig valley, in front of the southwestern end of the transition of the Via Regia over the low mountain ridge to Fulda, which is in the core of the High Middle Ages. Today, the building houses the Ulrich von Hutten High School as well as the Church Music Training Center of the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck, which owns the monastery today.
