Kirche Ivenack

The church in Ivenack in the district of Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania goes back to the monastery church of the former Cistercian monastery from the 13th century and after the dissolution of the monastery belonged to the castle Ivenack, which was built in its place. The church received its present appearance after destruction in the Thirty Years' War essentially through reconstruction in the early 18th century. Today, the congregation belongs to the Neustrelitz Provostry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany.
