The Protestant Martin Luther Church in the center of Solingen was built between 1898 and 1901 according to plans by architects Adolf Cornehls and Arno Eugen Fritsche on Kölner Straße. It is the only one of the three large churches in Solingen's city center to have survived the Second World War largely unscathed.
The structure has been a listed building since August 9, 1988.
