The Architekturmuseum Schwaben in Augsburg serves to research, document and communicate the architectural history of Swabia, but is also an exhibition and event venue for all areas of architecture. It is located in the listed villa of the Buchegger family of architects in Augsburg's Thelottviertel district. Designed by Sebastian Buchegger and built in 1907-1929, the Thelottviertel is known as Germany's first garden city.
The museum was a branch of the Architecture Museum of the Technical University of Munich from 1995 to 2019. Until 2019, the facility was financed by the Arno Buchegger Foundation.
Since December 2019, the museum is closed to the public.
