Rezerwat Łęgi Oborskie
Facts and practical information
Łęgi Oborskie Nature Reserve - a forest nature reserve located entirely in the municipality of Konstancin-Jeziorna in the cadastral area Obory, in the vicinity of Konstancin resort. It borders with a historic manor-park complex in Obory. It is part of the Chojnowski Landscape Park.
It was established by Order of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry of 3 December 1981 on an area of 48.31 ha. The Order of the Regional Director of Environmental Protection in Warsaw of 4 May 2016 enlarged it to 54.0374 ha.
The ash and elm riparian forest, a remnant of the natural vegetation of the Vistula valley, was protected.
Olszyna Łyczyńska and Skarpa Oborska reserves are located in close proximity to the Łęgi Oborskie nature reserve.
