Weszterov štít, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
Bulist Turnia - an outstanding peak in the Slovak High Tatras. It is located in the side ridge, which is sent to the southeast of a small high. The lounge Turnia from Baniaty Turnia is separated by a fallen pass, and from the old -age peak - a deceptive bench.
The fibrist Turnia is not thoroughly measured, but sometimes its height is 2409 m a.s.l. The slightly lower baniast Turnia is about 2414 m, so the height of 2409 m seems wrong. There are many less significant objects in the Massif of the Turnia. Within the southwestern slopes, there are: a deceptive tower, a valuable passage, through which Granacka Bench runs, a lounge tower, classified as a group of Granacki Baszt, Sucha Przehyba, Sucha Kopa.
In turn, in the north-west ridge, falling onto the fallen pass, there are: Wyżnia Walista Szczerbina, a small louty turnician, Niżnia Sędrisa Szczerbina, lounge kopa.
No marked hiking routes lead to the top, it is available to mountaineers, for whom the most interesting are its cliffs from the side of the Oldoleśna valley.
The Polish name of the burdens of Turnia comes from its shape. Slovak, German and Hungarian names were broadcast in honor of Paul West, who in 1888, together with his brother -in -law, founded the town of Tatrzańska Polanka.
