Divá veža, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
Dzika Turnia - the peak in the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains between the small high, separated from it by the Rohatka pass and the marmoty peak, from which the wild pass separated from it.
Wild Turnia is a peak with two vertices. It rises above the valleys: Staroleśna and Świstowa, which is the upper part of the White Water Valley. Below the summit, in the Świstowa Valley there is a cold pond under the Polish Grzebie, from which the banks have a perfect view of the wild stay, rohatka and small high. Tourist routes do not lead to the top of the Wild Turnia.
In the southern ridge, falling towards Rohatka, there is a Turnia over Rohatka, separated from the summit separated by a rohatka high. In turn, in the northern ridge from the highest vertex are: wild Szczerbina, the lower, northern vertex of the wild turns, Wyżnia Dzika Pass, Dzika Czuba, indirect wild pass, black monk, Dzika bench, Red Monk, Dzika Pass.
In the southwestern wall of the wild Turnia you can also distinguish a wild horn and a wild bazate.
The name of the summit was introduced by Janusz Chmielowski in 1906 and is associated with the appearance of Turnia. The German name was introduced by Karol englisch, moving it incorrectly from a small ice peak - it means in the diagram of the "Turnia Czerwony Głąb" in the dialect. The Hungarian name is a German translation.
