The monastery church of the former Franciscan monastery in Cottbus, later called the "Wendish Church", is the oldest preserved sacral building in the city. It was built in its present form in the 15th century in the Gothic style. The church is located in the northwest of the old town between Klosterstrasse and Münzstrasse in the Wendish Quarter.
