Facts and practical information
The Karlshof Fountain is located in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia in the inner courtyard of the Karlshof in the immediate vicinity of Aachen's market square.
The Karlshof Fountain was created in 1969 by Ottmar Hollmann from marble, concrete and bronze. Its octagonal ground plan is reminiscent of the octagon of Aachen Cathedral.
