Facts and practical information
The Tiefe Stollen is a visitor mine and healing gallery in the Braunenberg near Aalen-Wasseralfingen. The mine was previously used as the Wilhelm I iron ore mine.
From 1608 to 1939, iron ore was mined there with temporary interruptions. During this time, the underground labyrinth grew to 6 km. Today, the most interesting tunnels, shafts and passages are open as a show mine and for breathing cures.
