Facts and practical information
The Catholic parish church Herz Jesu in Munich-Neuhausen was built between 1997 and 2000 according to the plans of the Munich architectural firm Allmann Sattler Wappner. The modern building soon became one of the most visited churches in Munich.
Friedrich Cardinal Wetter consecrated it to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on November 26, 2000, just like the predecessor church; the blessing of the organ and the mural took place in October 2004.
