The gate of the bishop clock tower - a Gothic gate, located in Nuremberg, placed within the penultimate ring of medieval city walls. After building the next ring of defensive walls in the fourteenth century, the gate was in the middle of the Old Town. The gate is located by the exit road towards Lauf An der Pegnitz. The name of the gate comes from this town and the clock function through the gate tower. It should not be confused with Laufer Tor.
