Facts and practical information

The Mayor Stroof House was the residence and thus the official residence of the first mayor of Vilich, Leonhard Stroof; it was not until 1896 that the official residence was moved to Beuel. It is listed as an architectural monument because of its Rhenish half-timbering and as an "unusual architectural testimony of the Bonn region".
