Amtsgericht Cochem, Cochem

Cochem Local Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Rhineland-Palatinate and one of 15 local courts in the district of Koblenz Regional Court.

The district court has its seat in the city of Cochem, the judicial district covers the county of Cochem-Zell.

The Koblenz Regional Court is superior to the Local Court, the Koblenz Higher Regional Court is superior to it, and the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe is superior to it. The local court is responsible for all decisions that are reserved for the district courts. Register matters are the responsibility of the Koblenz Local Court, and dunning matters are the responsibility of the Mayen Local Court.
