Facts and practical information

The ferry Stralsund was put into service in 1890 for the Strelasund crossing, the connection from Stralsund to Altefähr. It was last in service in Wolgast until 1990. Since March 11, 2017, the world's oldest preserved railroad steam ferry has been moored as a technical monument in Wolgast's city harbor.
