St. Jakub in Greifswald-the Evangelical-Augsburg church, located in the western part of the Old Town in Greifswald. He is called by Saint. Jakub the Apostle.

St. Jakub was erected in II. half. XIII century as a three -nave, indoor church in the style of North German brick Gothic. It is the smallest of the three main medieval Greifswald parish churches next to the cathedral of St. Mikołaj and St. Mary's Church.

In the fourteenth century it was expanded by a third nave; The shape of his eight round pillars supporting the cross-rib vault was also unified.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the interior was destroyed. A late Roman, granite baptismal font has survived.

St. Jakub is the parish church of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church in Greifswald.
