Haus der Geschichten
Facts and practical information
The Müllenbach House of Stories is a house used as a museum, about 100 years old, in Marienheide in the Oberbergischer Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The house was bought by the writers Harry Böseke and Heidi Böseke. It was transformed into a museum and exhibits were gathered. In the "House of Stories" are not shown individual exhibits, but completely furnished rooms. For example, an old store, which was found in this condition in the house 50 years ago, is exhibited. Furthermore, original objects from the former village doctor's office are exhibited. Other main topics are black powder, quarry work and carter's craft.
In 2004 was opened Villa Ohl, a project of the "House of Stories".
