Fehn- und Schiffahrtsmuseum, Rhauderfehn

The Fehn- und Schiffahrtsmuseum in Westrhauderfehn is a museum dedicated to the history of fehn culture, regional shipbuilding and shipping of what was once the most important inland port in East Frisia. The museum is located in the listed "Villa Graepel" and is a member of the Museum Association of East Frisia. The sponsor is the Heimatverein Overledingerland e.V. In front of the museum, the Heimatverein has rebuilt a forge that is over 100 years old. In the canal directly in front of the house lies the Tjalk "Twee Gebroeders".
