Known as the Church of the Dead, the parish church of St. John in Neckarbischofsheim in the Rhine-Neckar district in northern Baden-Württemberg is the original parish church of the village, documented since the 14th century. It received its common name today because of the numerous historical grave monuments of the Lords of Helmstatt, whose most important line had its seat in Neckarbischofsheim. Because of its numerous grave monuments, the church is one of the most important cultural monuments in the Kraichgau region.
