The stone church Scharzfeld in the Harz Mountains is a cave near the Herzberg district of Scharzfeld in the district of Göttingen in southern Lower Saxony.
It is a round-arched cave in dolomite rocks. It is about 28 m long, 6 to 8 m high and as wide. In the Paleolithic period, the cave served as a campsite for reindeer hunters. In the Middle Ages it became a church room with a cemetery forecourt, which fell into oblivion from the 16th century.
