The Alte Fasanerie Game Park is a game preserve near Klein-Auheim, a district of Hanau. The facility covers 107 hectares and is home to around 40 Central and Northern European animal species with a good 350 specimens. The enclosure dates back to a pheasantry created in 1705 by Archbishop Lothar Franz von Schönborn. Today, the park is a popular recreational destination for people from all over the Rhine-Main region.
