Facts and practical information

Erlebniswelt steinzeichen was a nature-oriented adventure and leisure park in the Steinbergen district of Rinteln in the Weserbergland region of Lower Saxony. It was located on the Messingberg, in an already renaturalized area of a quarry. The park was built as a decentralized project in the course of the world exhibition EXPO 2000. In 2016, it slid into insolvency. After numerous attempts to find another use for the site, it was finally sold in 2019. The adventure park with its attractions can no longer be used; only the Millennium View can still be climbed as a viewing platform.
