The Fuggereimuseum deals with the history of the Augsburg Fuggerei. It was founded in 1957 and is located at Mittleren Gasse 13 and 14. In addition to a permanent exhibition, it houses a historic museum apartment showing life and living in the Fuggerei at the time of the early 19th century, as well as a modern show apartment. Attached to the museum since 2008 is also a World War II bunker.
A visit to the museum is included in the entrance fee to the Fuggerei.
