Edenserloog Castle stands in the district of the same name in the municipality of Werdum in East Frisia. It is the only surviving chieftain's castle in Harlingerland and the oldest surviving secular building in East Frisia. The castle is the birthplace of Ursula van Beckum. The most famous inhabitant was Ulrich von Werdum, the author of the Series Familiae Werdumanae, a house and family chronicle.
