A cutter roll is the roll-shaped tool carrier of a roll cutter loader. The tools of the cutter roll are chisels made of carbide and arranged on the cutter roll in clockwise and counterclockwise helical lines. The roller is located at the end of the roller support arm and is usually hydraulically driven.
