The sculpture museum Prof. Wandschneider in the town of Plau am See has existed since 1994 and documents the life and work of the Plau sculptor Wilhelm Wandschneider. The institution was the smallest independent museum in Mecklenburg until it was incorporated into the Plau am See Castle Museum.
