The castle church in the Düsseldorf district of Eller was built at the beginning of the 20th century in neo-Romanesque style and goes back to a foundation. It belongs to the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland.
The land and the capital for the construction of the church were contributed by an endowment from the owners of Eller Castle at the time, the married couple Clara, née Vohwinkel, and Hermann von Krüger. The church was built in the neo-Romanesque style according to the plans of the architect Moritz Korn. Its consecration took place on November 5, 1905. It is a three-nave brick basilica, painted white. The side aisles served as a kindergarten for a time.
The Eller Castle Church has been a listed building since 1984.
The Schlosskirche Eller was renovated in the years 2020-2021 by modus.architekten Düsseldorf/Potsdam in accordance with the preservation order.
