Facts and practical information
The paddle steamer Riesa was built in 1897 at the Blasewitz shipyard. The keel of the ship was laid under the name Habsburg with the construction number 41. It was named after the noble Habsburg family. In 1919, it was the second ship to receive the name Riesa. It was in service until 1976 and is now in the Oderberg Inland Navigation Museum.
