The Bend Game Reserve was opened in 1975 and covers 7 ha in the wooded area between the Erft River and the highway in Grevenbroich.
The sponsorship is taken over by the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald, and the city of Grevenbroich covers the feeding costs.
The wildlife enclosure is particularly suitable for children and the disabled: animals can be fed and petted at the fence. There is also a petting zoo and playground equipment. The forest paths are accessible by wheelchair.
The wildlife enclosure is open to the public free of charge all year round.
In addition to picnic tables, a bookable barbecue hut is available. Guided tours and classroom events are available.
