Lindengracht

The Lindengracht is a street and former canal in Amsterdam. It is in the Jordaan neighborhood of the Centrum district just west of the canal belt. The canal was back-filled in 1895. It connected the Brouwersgracht with the Lijnbaansgracht. The Eerste Lindendwarsstraat and Tweede Lindendwarsstraat are side streets.

Sarphatistraat

The Sarphatistraat is a street in the center of Amsterdam between Frederiksplein and Oostenburgergracht at the Cruquiuskade. The street crosses the Amstel and forms an almost 2 kilometres long connection between the southern part of the Grachtengordel and the Oostelijke Eilanden.

Westerstraat

The Westerstraat is a major street in the Jordaan, a neighborhood of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. The street was created by the filling in of the Anjeliersgracht. It runs from the Noordermarkt to the Marnixstraat. Besides residential homes and shops, including a supermarket, there are restaurants and cafes.

Rokin

The Rokin is a canal and major street in the centre of Amsterdam. The street runs from Muntplein square to Dam square. The Rokin canal used to run from Muntplein square to Dam Square, but in 1936, the part between Spui square and Dam Square was filled in.

Spuistraat

The Spuistraat in downtown Amsterdam connects the Hekelveld to the Spui. It runs roughly north to south, parallel to the Singel and the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. At the Royal Palace of Amsterdam, the Spuistraat crosses the Raadhuisstraat and Paleisstraat. Originally the Spuistraat was a canal, the Nieuwezijds Achterburgwal.

Prins Hendrikkade

Prins Hendrikkade is a major street in the centre of Amsterdam. It passes Amsterdam Central Station, intersects the Damrak at the mouth of the Amstel river, and forms the southern end of the IJtunnel across the IJ bay. The street formed the northern edge and outer harbour of the city until the 19th century.

Kromme Waal

The Kromme Waal is a street in Amsterdam between the Prins Hendrikkade and the Oude Waal. From Kraansluis to Waalseilandbrug, the street forms the western quay of the Waalseilandsgracht, the old inner harbor of Amsterdam between the Montelbaanstoren and the IJ.

Raadhuisstraat is a street in Downtown Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. It is located between Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal and Prinsengracht. The street is named after the former City Hall or Town Hall, now the Royal Palace and it contains the gallery. It is the main thoroughfare into Old Centre. Raadhuisstraat was built in 1895.

The Zwanenburgwal is a canal and street in the center of Amsterdam. During the Dutch Golden Age the canal was home to painter Rembrandt van Rijn, as well as philosopher Spinoza lived here.

Scheepstimmermanstraat

The Scheepstimmermanstraat in Amsterdam is well known for its 60 unique houses designed by architects such as Hertzberger, van Velsen, Höhne & Rapp and MVRDV. The landscape architect Adriaan Geuze of the firm West 8 planned a district with one of the streets on which residents were free to design their own houses on the waterfront.
