Rabia skala

Riaba Skała - peak in the border range of the Western Bieszczady Mountains, on the Polish-Slovakian border.
The name comes from the Ukrainian word рябий - stern. In the literature one can find also a distorted name - Rabia Skała, appearing on the XIX century Austrian maps. The alternative, correct form is Raba Skała.
To the east of the main culmination there is a lower peak. From the top a chasm descends to the south, overlooking the Slovakian part of the Bieszczady Mountains. A side ridge of Paportná and Javorník diverges to the north from the highest point. The shortest way to Ryba Skala leads from the village of Wetlina.
From the plant species that are rare in Poland, the occurrence of the medium tawula, long-leaved tansy and Carpathian tocia was found.
