Jaworzyński Przysłop, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
Jaworzyński Przysłop - a coniferous peak in the surroundings of the Chochołowska Valley in the Western Tatras. It is located at the end of the Przysłop Ridge, which separates two side branches of the Chocholowska Valley: Głębowiec and Dolina Długa. The peak of Jaworzyński Przysłop is almost completely forested, but on its ridge, west of the peak, a clearing called Jaworzyna pod Furkaską begins, stretching all the way to the slopes of Parzątczak. There are numerous limestone rocks in the forested slopes of the Jaworzyński Przysłop. The forested rift of Wielki Ciemniak descends from the Jaworzyński Przysłop to the Dolina Długa Valley, while the much smaller rift of Mały Ciemniak with its outlet at the Lower Chochołowska Gate descends to the Chochołowska Valley. With Wielki Ciemniak flows down a steady stream, Small Ciemniak only periodically.
In the past, Javorníky Prostěsop was grazed. It used to be a part of Jaworzyna Hall under Furkaska. No hiking trails lead through it.
