The Tuchmacherbrunnen is a listed fountain in Cottbus.
The Clothmaker's Fountain is located on the city wall near the Gerichtsberg and was created between 1937 and 1938 by the Hamburg sculptor Richard Kuöhl from sandstone and bronze.
On a stone base sits the fountain bowl with a column inside. This is surrounded by a ring made of bronze, whose images represent four stages of cloth production. The fountain basin itself bears the inscription: "An honorable craft is honored, which works and shears good cloth".
According to the city administration, the Clothmaker's Fountain is the only fountain in the city whose water flows 24 hours a day.
