The Swan Church is located near Roes in a so-called parish of the six communities of Binningen, Brohl, Dünfus, Forst, Möntenich and Roes in the Vordereifel. The church is a pilgrimage site and a place of Marian devotion. It was built between 1950 and 1952 as a successor to the church destroyed in World War II. The parish to which the Swan Church belongs is Forst.
