The community center at Mittelstraße 40 in Hilden in the district of Mettmann is a listed professional building. It housed the town hall of Hilden from 1900 to 1990.

In 1899, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of the Old Town Hall. The architect was Walter Furthmann from Hilden, who lived in Berlin at the time. The building was constructed in the late Renaissance style from Weiberner tuff and Lautertaler sandstone. Today it serves as a community center and is used for cultural events, among other things.
