The Basilica of Gößweinstein is a basilica minor in the municipality of Gößweinstein. The basilica is the second largest pilgrimage site in the Archdiocese of Bamberg and also the largest Trinity pilgrimage site in Germany. Around 140 permanent pilgrimage groups make the annual pilgrimage to Gößweinstein. Gößweinstein is considered the spiritual and ecclesiastical center of Franconian Switzerland.
