The RuhrCongress Bochum is a congress and event center in the Grumme district of Bochum. It replaced the Ruhrlandhalle. Under the management of Bochumer Veranstaltungs-GmbH, the RuhrCongress Bochum has been in operation since 2003. On average, about 200 events of various kinds take place here every year, from concerts and comedy to trade fairs and larger congresses.
The event center's total area of around 8,700 m² is divided among five halls and event rooms with capacities ranging from 70 to 3,000 m². A further ten meeting rooms are located in the adjacent Renaissance Bochum Hotel. The RuhrCongress Bochum has an average of around 200,000 visitors every year.
