Facts and practical information

The Ebbergkirche is one of seven Protestant churches in the urban area of Hemer. The building was constructed between 1818 and 1820 as a replacement for the demolished Vituskirche and has been a listed building since 1982.

Due to its location on one of the highest points in Niederhemer, the Ebberg Church characterizes the townscape of the northern city center. As the oldest church of the Protestant community in Hemer, it is often used for concerts.
