Stadtkirche "St. Marien", Borna

Borna City Church is the church of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of St. Mary in Borna. The parish belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxony. The important late-Gothic building of the 15th century incorporates the essentially Romanesque west tower of the previous building from the 13th century. The reformer Martin Luther preached in this church several times, and the church is a stop on the Luther Trail.
