The Carolus Thermen in Aachen are a leisure-oriented thermal spa with an attached sauna facility. They were built from 1998 to 2001 according to plans by the Munich architect Rudolf Wienands. The thermal baths are operated by the municipal Kur- und Badegesellschaft mbH, founded on December 30, 1932, which also assumes the tasks of the spa administration for the state-recognized spa of Aachen.
