The Geophysical Museum of Rocca di Papa is a museum located on the upper part of the town, in the former Geodynamic Observatory built to the design of Michele Stefano de Rossi, the father of modern seismology, in the years 1888 - 1889. The building, and in particular its terrace overlooking the Castelli Romani and Rome, was used by Guglielmo Marconi for his experiments on radio transmissions in the 1930s. The museum was opened in the early 2000s.
