The church of San Domenico is a religious building in L'Aquila. It was built in the 14th century adjacent to the convent complex of the same name, formerly the Royal Palace, donated by Charles II of Anjou to the Dominican order in fulfillment of a vow made while he was a prisoner in Barcelona. In 1902 it was declared a national monument. It was severely damaged in the 2009 earthquake and is currently uninhabitable.
