The Rocca di Offagna is an important medieval fortress in the Marche region, located in the town of Offagna. It was erected by the Maritime Republic of Ancona to protect its mainland possessions, particularly of the expansionist aims of the nearby powerful city of Osimo. Offagna thus became part of the Castles of Ancona. The fortress has been declared a national monument since 1902.
