Museo d'arte e archeologia Ignazio Mormino, Palermo
Facts and practical information
Villa Zito is an ancient noble palace in Palermo. It has been home to the Ignazio Mormino Museum of Art and Archaeology and is now home to the Fondazione Sicilia art gallery. It is located on Viale della Libertà.
The current appearance of the Villa is, of course, not the original eighteenth-century appearance of an aristocratic country mansion. It is the result of renovations, extensions and updates made in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
