Facts and practical information
Piz Galin is a 2442-meter-high mountain located in western Trentino, near the village of Andalo. It is the easternmost peak of the small subgroup of the Brenta Dolomites to which Croz dell'Altissimo also belongs.
It appears as a massive regular pyramid. The southwest slope is mainly grassy and gravelly, with outcropping steps. The rocky outcrops are higher and more pronounced on the east slope and especially on the northern slope, the most imposing, overlooking malga Spora.
