The Church of the Santissima Annunziata is a church in Messina, Camaro Inferiore locality, which finds its origins in the 18th century. Damaged by the earthquake of December 28, 1908, it was replaced by a church-shed planted on the opposite bank of the Camaro stream. Rebuilt in the 1930s, not far from its original site, it consists of three naves and is completely Romanesque in style. Inside it is possible to admire the canvas of the Annunciation by the famous painter Adolfo Romano dating from 1919, four altarpieces in Baroque style, two 18th-century statues depicting Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Louis, several sacred vessels dating from the 17th-18th centuries, and various gilded wooden liturgical furnishings including a chair, in the main apse, from the 18th century.
