The Cathedral Square represents the beating heart of Giarre's historic center. Rectangular in shape, it is located between Via Callipoli and Villa Giuseppe Garibaldi, and the church of Sant'Isidoro overlooks it. Paved on the ground are two stylized four-petaled flowers and a dodecagonal geometric figure with seven towers inside and the motto of the county of Mascali: Abundantia in turribus tuis, which in Latin means "Abundance in your towers."
